RazorLast is a unique soaking solution and razor blade enhancer that is patent pending. It contains a specially mixed blend of hypo-allergenic, essential oils in a base of 94% isopropanol. RazorLast is not a skin care product and contains no mineral oil. You simply store your razor blades in the solution between shaves and they will continue to cut like brand new blades every time you use them.

Amazing product!

I have to admit I'm usually skeptical of things like this.  With that in mind, I always give everything a fair shake.  I guess what I'm saying is I'm a "prove it" kind of guy.  Wow, did Razorlast prove it!

My main razor for shaving the noggin is the HeadBlade Sport.  Love it!  But, it's not cheap to keep that thing in good blades.  I found that personally, I didn't get that much more use out of expensive blades than "house" brands.  In fact, my blade of choice is the Meijer store brand Atra blades...around $7 for a 10 pack.  I get 3-4 shaves...tops.

I was pretty excited when I got the Razorlast package in the mail.  To make it a fair test, I put a new blade in the HB Sport.  Simple to use Razorlast...just enough in the tube to cover the blade when I slid the unit in...about one ounce.  Rinse the razor when done, pat dry, put back in solution.  Easy as pie.

Razorlast says it will prolong the blade life up to three times the normal length of usage.  So I'm thinking I want a dozen shaves out of this blade, and that would be good.  How about 22 shaves!!  No joke, 22 shaves on a "house" brand blade!  I really think I could have squeezed out a few more, but at 22 shaves, the blade felt like it normally did after 4 or 5 shaves.

I'm not good with math, so I'm not even going to attempt to break this down.  Suffice it to say that with a 4 ounce Combo Pak (solution and tube) priced at $8.99, I am shaving for mere pennies.  In fact, when I finally get through with the pack of blades I'm on, I'm going to try the more expensive blades again.  I was getting 2-3 more shaves than the cheap ones.  I'm confidant that Razorlast will help me stretch those dollars even more.

As for the amount of product used, I still have a couple ounces left.  That's with a month of use!  I've changed it just once.  You can certainly change it more often and still be saving money on blades.  Consider a 4 ounce refill is just $5.99.  That should last a couple months.  With what you pay for blades, it pays for itself.

I have somewhat sensitive skin, and I'm happy to announce I noticed absolutely no effect whatsoever using this product.  Follow the instructions and rinse the blade off before shaving, and you should be good.  I have to be careful with aftershave/lotion on my head, because they can make me break out.  No such problem with Razorlast!

In summary, I would say that I highly recommend this product!  I'm certainly adding it to my shaving routine from here on!

I used the Razor Last product  for about a month.  I was able to use a razor about a week longer than normal before.  The blades being submersed in a liquid did not seem to bother the lubrication strip.   I had no problems with razor burn.  On the last week I changed razors.  I went to a double edge safety razor.  The container that I received did not handle the double edge razor.  I wonder if there is a soaking container for double edge razors.  The price is decent and the product last for quite a long time.  Overall the is a great product and I recommend it.

I found this product to be very true to it's claims. I got about 4 weeks use out of each blade I used with this product. It's very easy to use and has a unique scent that I compare to chocolate and rubbing alcohol.

I must admit, I went into using this product not knowing what to think.

The scent was the first thing that struck me;  it is VERY strong, kinda mediciny.

I tried it first with my alternative set up;    With a Gillette Tech Razor and these razor blades i had received from the netherlands.   I got quite a bit of razor irritation;   but admittedly, the blade lasted quite a bit (about a week longer than I normally get from a razor, about 3 more shaves).

So, I next tried with some israli blades and my Merkur HD.   My normal razor, and the next blade in my sampler pack.  Still irritation, bad irritation.   But, this was what i had the first time i tried those blades.     So, I switched immediately to my set up that i know that works (Merkur HD and Derby Blade).

What a difference.   I got two more weeks of shaves out of this blade.  It is odd.  The blade reached that slick stage (where you get really good shaves) and just kinda stayed there throughout.   I finally just changed blades, because I had forgotten when I last changed.

I noticed a lil buildup on the head of the razor, but other than that, this is a good product, and it does what it says it does.    The scent still has not grown on me, but it works, and would last forever.

Pricing:   I think the tube price is a little high;   not sure.  But the price of the razorlast is dead on.   It lasts a LONG time.
