I'll start.
44-year old, single, Minneapolis, Minnesota. Self-employed. Started loosing my hair about age 20. I knew it was inevitable, since my family has male pattern baldness.
Kept it trimmed "high and tight" from age 30-40. I got tired of the hats. Four years ago I took a step I'd contemplated for a few years, and completely shaved it. I don't wear hats now.
It was the best move I've ever made. No regrets at all. I look younger, and always get positive comments. I couldn't ever consider plugs, drugs, or rugs.
Mach III turbo everyday. |

Hi! I'm Julie, Mission Coordinator for the Brotherhood.
My dad was completely bald by age 26. He was a good-looking man - a male model for Gamble's Department Store in his younger days. He died when I was three years old, but I've seen many pics of his beautiful bald head!
My husband is in the "If you can see skin..." category. He's got the bald area on the crown of his head and he's got a receding hairline. It's been that way from the time we started dating. I've written a few articles about my feelings on baldness and on how I like to see him style the hair he has left. You'll have to check those out!
My son is likely to be losing his hair at some time in the future. He's fifteen now and thinks the Brotherhood is great. In fact, I wrote an article called "Developing Healthy Attitudes Toward Baldness" where I talked about his enjoyment of the Brotherhood and confidence with the thought that his future may be hairless. |

Hi Guys, I started off bald by choice but as the years catch up to me, I am not sure that I have the option to grow it back.
I am 36 and work with computers, smoke cigars and like a nice stiff drink here and there. |

Hi Markn and Homebody!
Welcome to the Brotherhood!
Have a great day guys, and post more thoughts on the forum! We get tons of views, but since we're new with this, people feel a little hesitant to post here - a trust factor we're thinking. Anyway, keep it up! And, check out the August contest that Waliguy refers to... Make your posts count toward some free stuff!
Later!

| Hi everyone. I started losing my hair at around 18-19 yrs old. I had my hair pretty long then. I remember the horror of pulling out clumps of hair with every shower. I kept my hair long for as long as I could. I was in full on "toilet seat mullet" by 24. Frankly it was starting to look goofy. I decided to take a clipper to it. Using the #2 setting. It was finally all gone. Kind of liberating, really. I don't remember why I started shaving. It was probably by suggestion of my smarter half. Once I shaved it, that was it. Gone forever. |

Wade here from Green Bay, WI. I was told about the site by Waliguy (Chris) who's a long time respected FOG on a cigar site I belong to. I just turned 43 and am a talent agent by day and do a little DJ'ing at night, and I just started working a night a week at my local cigar lounge (50% off on all my cigars, so I couldn't pass it up.)
The whole bald thing for me started a few years back on my first trip out to Sturgis for the motorcycle rally. A few months prior I started clipping my hair shorter and shorter, and finally about a month before I left, I did my first shave, and I haven't gone back. I use the Gillette Fusion, it has like 37 blades or something and gives me the most smooth, clean shave I've ever had, face and head.
This is me at a cigar tasting event pretending I know how to roll a cigar. Chris, for bonus points, what's the brand and vitola cigar I'm smoking?

Nice pic Wade! So, you're a Sturgis kinda guy huh? Well, you'll be glad to know that a couple of the Harley stores here in MN have picked up our "Bald to the Bone" t-shirts and we're checking into the possiblity of selling that line at Sturgis in the near future.
Wade and Luca - Just because I'd like to see you both wearing our t's in WI and in Italy, if you guys can each get 3 more guys to post on this forum. I'll send you both a free t-shirt of your choice. Just tell them to mention your names as referrals in their posts.
BTW: Nice quote on the bottom of your post Wade - my husband works a bizzzillliooon overtime hours - and you're right... He misses a lot! |

LOL, dam close, I think the shadow makes it look more like a Super Beli, but it was a Perfection X! Either way you were right when you said I was enjoying it! _________________ Overtime pays more because of what you're missing...money isn't everything! |

We started out with just a few of us, then the second year had about a dozen people go...that sucked. Now we're back to just three, all great friends who ride the same, have the same interests and get along well. But I ride a Honda VTX 1800, someday I'll get on the HD bandwagon, but right now it's not in the budget. Here's my current bike:

| Hello to al my brother and sister baldies. My name is Ken. I'm 36 years old, married (12 years) and am raising two teenagers. The first time I shaved my head was in 1999 on a lost bet. I liked the look but because of peer pressure, family, coworkers, I ended up growing my hair back in. In 2005 I was attempting to grow my hair long. The bald spot on the crown and the receding hair line made me look like some kind of bad joke. I took a trimmer with no guard and buzzed it down. I clipper shaved like that for a few months then decided to blade shave and give it another try. This time I got only positive feedback and have been smooth ever since. I shave daily and use a Fusion. I am happy to be here. |
