I don't know what is happening, but I normally use I.E.7 and the past couple of days I am getting popups. A lot of them. I downloaded Firefox and the popups are dramatically less, but Firefox won't let me sign to the brotherhood web site. I know we have a few Firefox lovers. Let me say........................HELP.... |

It was weird, Larry. When downloaded it everything was fine except for logging in here. It would not accept any user name or password. I went back to IE 7 and checked my usernames and passwords and I was right on. So I uninstalled Firefox and then reinstalled it. This time a new version of Firefox came up that is optimized with Yahoo. I downloaded it and everything is fine, except I am still getting pop ups. Grrrrrrrr |

Rebob, go into Tools, the Options, then Content. Make sure the box for blocking popups is checked. _________________

| That's strange. I don't get an popups here. You mentioned Yahoo. I think Yahoo is the culprit here. Yahoo gets into everything and once it's installed, takes forever to clean it out of the registry. Yahoo toolbars are treated as adware when I scanned my daughters computer so you might want to get rid of them. |

| That is weird. Yahoo is totally accepted here and is not treated as adware |

I love that MalwareBytes program! I've had better luck recently with that then I have with Spybot or AdAware. _________________

Really? I'm surprised to hear that. Let me know what you find out when it's all said and done. _________________

Rickenbacker, nice tip...I used it last night and found 23 incidents of one program that Spybot missed...I also like that it is automated...thanks!! _________________ Tim
