|
|
As many of you probably read, I cut myself pretty good yesterday morning.
Well, I'm SO addicted to shaving my head that I typically shave around the area as close as I can, then a little closer... and if the wound permits, I take my electric razor over it.
Anyone else do this or am I just that ill? _________________ My Razor Collection |

I'll do that occasionally. But, I have found that it's best to give it at least one day, if I do something major. In fact, I'm taking today off, because I have some irritation going on. I admit though, when I feel my head...ewww! I need a shave! _________________

I for one am taking a day or two off. I don't know if my head is just that sensitive or I am just that big of a wimp. Had to take a cool shower today because of the sun burn.
I feel my head and think to myself, self, you need to shave. _________________ "You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich. You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong. Well, sunburn, that's a different story! Yeah, you'll need to cool that melon off for a couple! _________________

Try cold witch hazel or cold aloe gel if you can stand it. _________________ Irena

I will try the witch hazel cold. I have been putting aloe on my head and it feels good. _________________ "You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich. When I was working on the play set for the kiddos a part of me wished I had a 5 gallon bucket of aloe vera to dip my head in _________________ My Razor Collection |

Longhorn,
Did you cut your head or was it sunburn when she dabbed alcohol on your head? It must be from a cut. Not to much sun in WA. I lived in sandy OR. for a year. _________________ "You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich. You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong. | Worst thing about a sunburned melon is that the razor can get pretty gummed up when your head finally starts peeling! |

I am still waiting to shave my head again. My head is peeling still and it looks like my head is snowing. _________________ "You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich. Guess we're all a bunch of tennis ball heads right now
I decided this one was bad enough to just let it heal before messing around with it again. Pretty sure it's going to leave a permanent mark, it's rather deep. _________________ My Razor Collection |

Sounds like you could use some Emu oil. It will help the cut to heal and minimize the scar. _________________ Irena
