What are you all using for sunscreen now? Are you using any? Has anyone tried "Bald Guyz" products? I know they have a sunscreen. _________________ Carpe Diem "Seize the Day" |

| I haven't tried a sunscreen yet. My head usually tans and doesn't burn but this weekend it burned pretty bad. I had some sunscreen but my daughter used it up. |

I'm still looking for one that isn't greasy and has protection against both UVA AND UVB rays. I don't tan easily, I mostly burn. _________________ Irena

I use King of Shaves K-24 moisturizer with SPF 24 built in. It worked very well last weekend while I was outside at my Uncle's funeral. No burn here!!
As a side note, from the pasty white boy club founder, even using sunscreen does not eliminate the possibility of getting pre cancerous or cancerous growths; it just cuts down the odds. It is VERY important that if you notice any scaling, sores that don't heal in a week or any other kind of skin anomaly to have it examined by a Doctor. I go in about twice a year and have little patches frozen off and I am very very aware of skin cancer issues. _________________ Tim

Oh yeah, I think I've learned my lesson. I've had two spots of cancer removed from my head, one on top of the dome and one from the face. _________________ Smith: Why, Why Mr Anderson? Why do you persist?

| My head's still peeling from the burn I got last weekend. Only spent 15 minutes in the sun! Unbelievable. |

People don't realize how dangerous UV exposure is, irregardless of skin pigmentation. I use sunscreen and wear broad brimmed hats and still have the biannual search and destroy mission on my arms, legs and head/face. So far it's just been the arms and nothing of any major concern when found. I am becomming quite friendly with liquid nitrogen _________________ Tim

| I didn't realize 15 minutes adjusting the carb on my truck would burn my head so bad. I couldn't shave all week and then the peeling started and I tried to exfoliate and it hurt to do that. It was horrible. |

That's too bad. Nice, cold aloe vera would have helped. _________________ Irena

I've heard a lot of good things about aloe vera. I'm gonna get some. |

It's a hot topic (pun intended!!) at my house today. I'm also a member of Griz's pasty white boy club. We spent the entire weekend outside. I had sunscreen on, a hat, and mostly fished in the shade...since that's where the fish seemed to be anyway. The wife, who has been going to a tanning salon (which I'm against!), kinda used sunscreen...and got burned. I tried keeping my boy greased up, but Mama let him go on a boat ride without another slathering and he got burned. Of all people, I DIDN'T get burned at all!
Logic...it's your friend! _________________

I just heard that there is a company that makes a dry SPF spray. Anyone know what it is?
Thanks! _________________ Irena
