Nothing like a catchy title to get your attention, eh? 
I am pleased to announce that I get to meet our own UK Brother ShavedJoey tomorrow, and I am excited. Literally bouncing off the walls. An international meeting of Brotherhood members. It's really cool when you get to meet people that you talk to online, and this will be no exception (and I would imagine that the fact that I lived in the UK for two years is probably helping to "throw gasoline on the fire"...)
Joey will be on holiday in Chicago for the weekend, and we're having lunch. With his permission, I will get a picture of the two of us and post it here.

That is sooooo cool. He's been over a couple of times and met with one of the Brotherhood members. I'd love to take Julie and go over there and meet up with him... someday

Yup, he met KC earlier this year.
England is fun! The people are cool and the scenery is gorgeous. A must for history buffs. England has great food too.

I had an absolutely wonderful time hanging out with ShavedJoey yesterday. The experience was definitely well worth the effort involved.
It turns out that Joey lives in the same region of England that I was stationed in, so it was nice to have a little familiarity when talking about that.
I talked Joey into a picture for posterity's sake:
You missed out, RB. We went to Uno's. Deep dish Chicago style pizza for the win!
Joey, you are a proper gentleman and a helluva nice guy and if you ever come back to the Chicago area we have to do this again...
Julie: even though you don't really see it in the picture, Joey is wearing one of the Brotherhood "Confucious" tshirts for the occasion.

Well, you know.... my friend's son only lives a couple of miles from you, and my friend has been talking about wanting to go down and see him. I could be in your neck of the woods very, very soon.
Ooh... or... you could come up here and pick me up on your way through and we could go up to Minnesota and surprise Julie.

Before you do that... 
Joey is in the U.S. until this weekend, and I would assume that he will not have Internet access until Monday. The arrangement that I have with Joey is that I can post that picture for a limited time only. My intended course of action is to delete that picture on January 1st, after giving folks what I consider a reasonable amount of time to view it.
Please wait until Joey gets back and logs in here before taking any action with the picture. Talk to him and get his permission first. He was reluctant to give me permission for a limited time display, so don't be surprised if he tells you no to the album.

He's not deep undercover is he? Great picture of the two of you. It would be a shame to not be able to post it in the album. But totally understandable. Thanks to both of you for sharing, even if it will only be for a short time.
