sounds like he should be running for office in Minnesota _________________ "You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich. You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong. Um. So Joe the plummer is really a Samuel, without a plumbing licence and a backlog of unpaid taxes... |
He can be a plumber without a license if he's working for a "certified" plumber. There could be a number of reasons he ows back taxes such as sickness, death, medical bill, windfall profits or just plain laziness. If his name is really Samuel, where did the name Joe come from? Due to confusion over his true identity, wouldn't this license and taxes thing be purely academic? From what I've read about this guy, I do believe he represents your typical hard working American! |

Larry, that was your first mistake...you read about him...your second was applying logical reasoning to the situation...we all know that we should listen to the spin doctors and what the media says in their sound bites...
And now for 10,000 dollars will the real "Joe the Plumber" please stand up!! _________________ Tim

I admire Joe the plumber. It took a lot of courage to stand up for what he believes in. He is one of us. He is awesome.
