I saw this on the Donny Deutsch show the other night. Yes, I am a night owl and Donny is my Entreprenuerial Hero!!! One of these days I'm gonna make it BIG too!! I just wish everyone wouldn't steal all my ideas!!!
Well...I immediately thought of my Brother/Sisterhood of shavers. And...what's cool....is it works for legs and body too!!!
http://www.rollingrazor.com/index.htm
What do y'all think of it's design? Have you ever heard of it, seen it, would you try it? How does it compare to products like the head blade?
The guy promoting it on Big Idea with Donny D was BALD and he said it worked slick as cow snot [I grew up on a farm, give me a break]

I saw the web site briefly before my PC locked up. It has 2 heads. Do those swivel? _________________ Irena

Razor? What razor? All I saw was a cow diggn fer gold'.........
Well I watched their demonstration video. The concept works, because I normally shave against the grain, so I understand. I think as far as handling it reminds me of the Headblade. May take a little getting use to but eventually precision will come.
As for me, I am looking at the cost. Hmm two blades + one razor= more money I gotta spend.
A few of the guys like Rickenbaker & Adam were discussing DE razors with Waliguy. Well I bought mine and ya know, I am getting better and closer shaves with the DE than I ever have with the Headblade or the MachIII. SSSooooooo, I am stiking with the DE. Simple is better |

I actually tried it. the 2 heads is most definitely not a gimmick. even though it was my first try shaving my head and face with it, going in the different directions was easy to me and felt very natural. the grip also made it easy for me to control.
the curved heads fit perfectly behind my ears without cutting myself (which i usually do). i've never had an easier shave, and i've tried everything.
BTW Rebob, i had the same concern about 2 blades and cost, but the website said that you don't have to use both heads, but if you do you are splitting the workload between both heads so they actually last longer. (makes sense)
and they gave me 2 regular blades and 2 sensitive skin blades for free with the razor. for a total of $14.95 (razor+4 blades+headguard+base) i think its definitely worth a try. i liked it allot, but the worst case is going back 2 the razor you already have. Peace |

I have enough trouble not drawing blood with a regular shaver so I think people will try this once or twice then stick in in the drawer and forget about it. How's it going hank!
And Irena, I like that giggling puppy. Makes me think it's giggling at me. I like it when little animals giggle at me. Makes me feel special. |

You sound real old school. no offense, thats cool. do you still use a cassette player to hear music?
Nowadays you gotta be open to trying new products because technology is constantly improving. Trying a new razor is no exception. Like upgrading your PC. From my direct experience I can say that rolling razor is a huge improvement to mach 3 for face and head shaving.
All im saying is why are yo knocking it without ever having tried it? you work for headblade? |

Larry: Are you makin' trouble again?
Actually, Mike saw the rolling razor when it was introduced on the Donny Deutsch show. He thought it looked like a pretty interesting concept. I have to admit though that when I went to the website to check it out, the young girl they had in a bikini using the rolling razor on her legs didn't exactly make me feel like running out to buy one - how old is she? Like 17? _________________ Carpe Diem "Seize the Day"

I have to admit I'm intrigued. I like gadgets, I like shaving. I know my wife will think I'm nuts, since I have two Headblades, five DEs, and one of those vibrating Sensor things. Hey, if she can have 52 pairs of shoes (how many freakin' black shoes do you need anyway?), I can have another razor, right?
Tyrese, you cracked me up with the cassette line because...MY WIFE WANTS ME TO PITCH MY 8-TRACKS!! Seriously, I have some stashed away. Why? Uh...I don't know. Always planned to get a 4-track reel, take the 8-tracks apart and play them like that. Just because I could, I guess!!
Whoops...threadjack!! _________________

I'm not that old school since I do use the headblade sometimes but doesn't shave nearly as good as my 40 year old de but is a bit faster. I tried the mach 3 several times but it didn't work well for me. There are some things that can be improved upon and others that will never be improved upon. That's just the way things are. One thing I'm very familiar with is marketing and your product belongs in a stand next to every checkout at the dollar store where they keep the rest of the gadgets but will never become a mainstream marketable item.
I don't mean to sound so negative about your product Hank I'm saying this to be kind, not mean and I'm suggesting you don't waste your time and effort on this one. Btw, the girl in that wonderful video was a real killer but a dead givaway of a product that's already reached the end of it's limited life cycle.
The other thing I find disturbing about your product is the propriortary blade system so when the company goes under, customers will be stuck without being able to get any blades. |
